hatha slow and power flow.
Through my own health journey having to deal with an autoimmune disease for the past 15 years, I came in touch with many forms of physical, mental and emotional types of therapy. Physiotherapy, Qui Gong, Pilates and dance influence my style of Yoga as well as my knowledge in psychology and the emotional body we carry. Rather than a Yoga teacher, I’d like to see myself as a committed Yoga student, practicing together and guiding the classes with others. A healthy dose of experience in guiding classes, empathy and intuition give me a solid base to create Yoga sessions tailored to the class participants needs.

My Yoga approach is more Yin oriented and aims serve the practitioners to calm their nervous system. Nevertheless muscle strength and confidence in movement is part of my practice as well and so I adapt my classes to whoever is present and whatever their needs are. It is important to me to explain the philosophical roots of Yoga, basics of Pranayama, Mudras and Mantras throughout my classes as well – for me Yoga is much more than simply movement – it is an art of being.
My Yoga classes are
Nurturing our Yin energy (feminine energy of reception, surrender, release, nurture, creation, flow, lightness, care, compassion)
Calming the nervous system
Bringing confidence into your body and grounding it
Emphasising on a therapeutic approach on your state of physical health, abilities and disabilities, pregnancies and former injuries
Creating an offering that is accessible to all genders, ages, nationalities, body types, states of health and economic backgrounds is very important to me. Yoga is especially beneficial to those who normally don’t have access to any form of wellness and I try to adapt my offerings to that and wish that everyone feels spoken to and welcomed by my classes!
